Gabriela, a dedicated Medical Aesthetician trained by Melluzi Academy and a certified Professional Laser Technician in Texas, has a deep-rooted passion for health and wellness. Before embarking on her journey in the USA, she spent four transformative years at Universidad Cooperativa in Villavicencio, Colombia, delving into medical studies encompassing anatomy, pathology, physiology, and pharmacology. This pursuit stemmed from a family deeply intertwined with healthcare – her brother, a nurse, and another, a veterinarian. Her father’s legacy as the mayor of San Juan de Arama in Colombia and her mother’s unyielding support further strengthened her values and determination.

In 2008, Gabriela made one of the most pivotal decisions of her life. She married Dr. Guy in a quaint village in Meta, Colombia, and moved to the USA to nurture a family, later becoming a proud American citizen in 2015. With her rich Colombian heritage, Gabriela remains deeply connected to her roots. She’s an active participant in Latin cultural events and has a penchant for salsa, joropo, and merengue dances.

Professionally, Gabriela has carved a niche for herself in the field of Aesthetics. She’s pursued advanced training with Empire Medical Training and the Allergan Institute, establishing herself as a master injector of neurotoxins and dermal fillers. Her personal struggle with maintaining optimum fitness drives her passion for treating obesity. She fervently believes that the obesity epidemic is a root cause for numerous health issues and champions causes that help patients surmount related challenges.

Outside her professional realm, Gabriela is an avid Jiu-Jitsu enthusiast. She cherishes her downtime, often spent reading or immersed in quality moments with her children, who pursue a spectrum of interests from gymnastics to ballet.
